Founded in 1994, Qingdao Far East Motor Boat Co., Ltd. is a professional enterprise jointly established by the Qingdao Sub-Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. of Japan, specializing in the production of fiberglass boats. After restructuring, the company has become one of China’s first authorized dealers and maintenance service providers for Yamaha products, a first-class distributor for Yamaha in northern China.
It is a member of the Boat Branch of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, a member and president unit of Qingdao Yacht Manufacturing Association, a cooperative partner of the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, a material supplier to BGP Inc., China National Petroleum Corporation, and a material supplier to Liaoning Electric Power Co., Ltd. of State Grid Corporation of China. It is a well-known brand in China’s fiberglass boat manufacturing industry.
With nearly 30 years of experience in fiberglass boat construction, the company mainly produces models including FR18, UF25, YFR24 introduced from Yamaha Japan, as well as more than 50 independently developed models. These boats are suitable for various customers in commerce, law enforcement, official business, tourism, leisure, entertainment, fishing, emergency rescue, and fishery (aquaculture, construction).
The company also distributes inflatable boats, personal watercraft, outboard motors, spare parts, lubricants, marine lifesaving equipment and other marine products. Meanwhile, it provides customized services such as sample processing, R&D and production of other fiberglass products.
After long-term development, "Qingdao Far East" fiberglass boats are widely used along China’s coasts, rivers, lakes, reservoirs and scenic water areas, and exported to Europe, America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and many other countries and regions.
